The Institute
The Swiss Institute for Digital Finance (SIDF) is a specialised institute for postgraduate education and applied research in quantitative finance, financial markets and systematic trading. We deliver all programmes through digital channels.

Markets are quantitative, digital and continuous. We educate the people who design, operate and supervise them. We combine the rigour of academic degrees with the relevance of practice.
To be the reference institution for digital finance education in the German-speaking countries and beyond. Recognised in academia, essential in practice, and accessible from any location.
We teach what you can derive, implement and test.
Each module is anchored in current market practice and regulation.
Markets depend on trust. Education also depends on trust. We are precise about what our degrees are, and what they are not.
Digital delivery opens rigorous finance education to professionals at any location.

Switzerland is one of the leading financial centres of the world. It was an early mover in the regulation of digital assets, from the DLT Act to a mature ecosystem of banks, exchanges and FinTechs. SIDF has its roots in this environment. Our faculty has supervised, advised and built its markets.
Our programmes are digital. So this environment is accessible to students at any location. The academic awards are firmly positioned in the European Higher Education Area.
