Our mission
Financial markets are quantitative, digital and continuous. Pricing, risk, execution and supervision are questions of data, models and infrastructure. The Swiss Institute for Digital Finance educates the people who design, operate and supervise these markets. Our programmes combine academic rigour with professional relevance.
Our faculty has supervisory experience at the highest European level and entrepreneurial experience in market infrastructure. Our programmes lead to recognised qualifications with ECTS credits, from a Postgraduate Certificate to a PhD.

Our teachers have supervised markets, built trading venues and managed regulatory strategy.
Qualifications with ECTS credits at MQF/EQF Level 7 and 8. An MFHEA-licensed higher education institution awards them.

Programmes
You can combine each level with one field of study and one of our three specialisations. All credits of a Postgraduate Certificate count towards a Master’s degree. A Master’s degree is the entry requirement for the PhD.

EIM (European Institute of Management) awards all SIDF degrees. The MFHEA is the national authority of Malta for further and higher education. The MFHEA licenses EIM as a Higher Education Institution (Licence No. 2022-004). The licence permits EIM to provide higher education programmes exclusively through digital channels. Digital delivery is the licensed mode of study, not a lower form of study.

Former Head of Asset Management and Markets and member of the Executive Board of the Financial Market Authority (FMA) Liechtenstein. Former Head of Regulatory Strategy at FTX Europe. Doctorates in law and in economic history. He lectures and publishes on financial market law, FinTech and sustainable finance.
